Why this Parent Edition is different
What's inside the Parent Edition?

When you enroll in Bridges Advocacy Academy, you join an eight-week live training that turns the Hot Mess to Head of the Table system into clear, practical advocacy skills you can use with real families and real school teams.
Learn in real time with Ashley and a small group of parents, caregivers, and community advocates. Sessions are held once a week on Zoom for ninety minutes and include teaching, discussion, and guided practice using real or sample documents. Replays are available to enrolled participants for a limited time.
Your tuition of $347 includes
• Eight live Zoom sessions
• A digital copy of the Hot Mess to Head of the Table Advocacy Manual
• All worksheets, checklists, and tools in PDF format
• A certificate of completion from Bridges 2 Advocacy when you finish the program
Bridges Advocacy Academy is designed for people who already have experience with IEPs or 504 plans and are ready to move from “I know something is wrong” to “Here is the data, the plan, and the language I can use to support this family.”
• Read and review IEPs, evaluations, and school records
• Spot red flags in goals, services, behavior plans, and discipline
• Draft clear evaluation requests, follow-up emails, and parent-friendly summaries
• Use procedural safeguards like Prior Written Notice, IEEs, complaints, and mediation in plain language with families
• Create a simple written advocacy plan that connects concerns, data, rights, and next steps for one student
You are not just showing up at the table. You are learning how to lead.
